Bad Taste

Bad taste in the mouth is also a common problem and often does not have a gastrointestinal cause.  It may occur acutely in a variety of diseases. It can disappear as quickly as it came.  At other times it can persist and this is particularly true in older people and may be due to damage to the nerves that line in the mouth and tongue.
