Indigestion



Indigestion
or heartburn is a sense of burning discomfort usually high in the abdomen under the rib cage or behind the breastbone. Indigestion is usually and often related to acid - the common causes being hiatus hernia with acid reflux, or peptic ulceration.  The indigestion may or may not be precipitated by food.
